Sustainable Tourism Knowledge Transfer

Building on the efforts by Thüringer Tourismus GmbH (TTG) and its partners to incorporate ecological, economic, socio-cultural and institutional sustainability into tourism development, the "Nachhaltigkeitsnavigator" (Sustainability Navigator) project aims to pave the way for continuous sustainability work in the coming years, working collaboratively with partners on solutions to build capacity, strengthen knowledge and promote best practices among industry stakeholders.

TrainingAid is supporting reCET, the lead partner for this project, to develop and deliver a Sustainability Toolkit, encouraging knowledge sharing and positive action among regional tourism industry stakeholders. Our work will focus on knowledge transfer, content development and design, addressing key challenges and opportunities related to sustainable tourism product development and communication. 

Through existing channels for regional tourism stakeholders, these tools will be incorporated into the ongoing sustainable tourism initiatives across the state of Thuringia.
